Vlassides Winery
Kilani Limassol, Cyprus
This innovative and complex process is at a very advanced stage at the moment and today the Winery manages 25 hectares of vineyards with international and indigenous varieties, some of which are cultivated at experimental vineyards, aiming to produce authentic Cypriot wines.
Grifos 3 2022
The name of the wine was inspired by the ancient era and geometry, two concepts immediately connected with winemaking.
The three eternal conundrums or brain-teasers of the Ancient Greek mathematicians are shown on the labels of these three Vlassides wines, enticing us to discover them: Doubling the cube – Trisecting the angle – Squaring the circle.
GRIFOS 3. Squaring the circle
The rosé Grifos is produced by blending two classic varieties used to make rosé wines around the world.
The grapes of the two varieties of rosé Grifos, Shiraz and Grenache are grown in non-irrigated vineyards in Kilani and Pachna. Both varieties are vinified at the same time.
Grifos 3 is best enjoyed fresh and cool at 10-12°C.

Artion 2017
Artion is the premium red wine of Vlassides Winery; a true work of art.
The wine is produced from varieties grown exclusively in the estate’s own vineyards. Its varietal composition differs slightly every year, in order to bring out the best qualities of the wine.
Artion is a blend of Merlot grapes from the Karamanos vineyard, Cabernet Sauvignon from the vineyard at Afames and Shiraz from the Katoshi vineyard. Merlot gives it a rich, velvety character, whereas Cabernet Sauvignon helps it to evolve during a ten-year period and Shiraz revives it, giving it a breath of “freshness”.
The wine matures in new French barrels for eighteen months, followed by two years in the bottle.
The wine is unfiltered and is recommended to be decanted and served at 18°C.
